Wheels on the Bus

Jackson and Triston could hardly get to school fast enough. They WANTED the bus. You know, the big YELLOW one!

They were full of the giggles.

Hard to contain the excitement.

Hello, Silly Faces!

Jackson finally got to ride the big yellow bus. And he loved it.

My personal fave, right before he got on the bus ...

And this next one actually brings me mixed emotions. Happy that he's learning to be independent. And yet somehow just a wee bit sad, thinking that he just got on that big bus and didn't need me one little bit.
But at least he's still of the age and mindset that Mom is great ... so he looked out the window to try and find me. And he smiled. And even waved.

And after snapping pictures and waving good-bye and smiling that "I love you so much I'd die for you" smile, I walked away SAPPY -- sad and happy all rolled into one.
