Our Go-To Stir Fry

Thought I'd post our favorite stir fry. Totally easy. Totally healthy. Totally inexpensive because of the fresh market we go to. It goes with chicken or pork or beef or just veggies.

Give it a try.

Beef or Chicken Teriyaki Stir-Fry

1. Mix together and set aside:

  • 2 Tablespoons cornstarch

  • 14 ounces beef/chicken stock {I use boullion cubes/boiling water}

  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce lite

  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

2. Cut up your favorite raw veggies:

  • make about 4 cups worth. {Green peppers, red peppers, carrots, broccoli, onions, celery ... whatever you have on hand}

3. Brown 1 pound of your favorite meat, if desired:

4. Once meat is browned, throw in sauce mixture and fresh veggies:

  • cook on high for several minutes, stirring continuously

  • once sauce is thickened and you have the veggies to your desired taste, you're ready to serve.

  • we add peanuts the last minute, for extra ummph.

5. Serve over rice: {Jasmine or Basmati are our personal faves.}

Start to finish 20 minutes. The kids love it. Go try it! Right this second.
