Percy Do It
Late this afternoon Maddie came running into the kitchen, crying and holding her head saying "Jackson hit me on the forehead with a train."
This is how the rest went down after I found Jackson hunkered down in the dining room:
Me: "Jackson, did you hit Maddie in the head?"
Jackson {adamantly}: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO."
And then he looked down at his Nemo fanny pack, slowly unzipped it, and carefully pulled out his little green Percy train and lifted it up close to my face.
Jackson: "Percy do it. Percy hit Maddie."
I was barely able to make it back to the kitchen before bursting into laughter. Ahhh, the literal stage of a 2-almost-3-year-old. He held the train in his hand. He wound up his arm and made connection with Maddie's head, but technically, he did not hit Maddie. It was Percy.
