i LoVe fREe

So, I found a really cool bench in our alley a month or two back. {I really have no idea exactly when - could have been last week, could have been last year. Mommy brain has taken over.} When I spotted it, and carried it half-way down the length of our alley, I wasn't sure what I would do with it, but I just KNEW I could and would do SOMETHING with it. It was just too perfect to pass up.

It was in great shape. It was a fantastic colour. And, if you know anything about me at all, you know I'm a sucker for a good bench. In fact, I'm always on the lookout for cool benches. Not sure why I'm so drawn to them other than, well, I just am. Quirk #374.

Best part about said bench: FREE.

And so, it sat in our back yard for awhile as I wondered what to do with it. And finally, when we were planting our flowers I thought, "IN THE GARDEN." And so that is where it has come to rest. And it makes me so happy. I love that little corner of our back yard. The kids helped me plant. It was a really fun afternoon. And I took pictures of the planting and can't find them. Bummer. They're on my computer somewhere.
