So, I'm really drawn to rich saturation in a photo ... deep colours ... so I'm just working on how much is enough, how much is too much, etc. And obviously, when pictures are given to a client, they don't see the 'before' pics, only the edited. So really, this is an experiment of figuring out what I like and what my look is, so that if people hire me, it's because they like my look. Ya know? So, it's fun to fiddle and I know that when I land on what I love, I'll know it. Just don't have it 100% figured out yet, and part of that really is in learning a good photo editing program. And, the key is that really, you have to START with a great photo and the editing is just the final tweaks.
I'm in the process of learning a program that I think is going to be the perfect photo editing program for me. Corel Paintshop Photo Prox3.

[edited] I think my ISO was off; definitely a grainy picture when cropped.
I do enjoy the process of learning. I hadn't messed with ISO in awhile, so it was good to fiddle. But then, the trick with fiddling is remembering to put it back where it belongs. Live and learn.
