The Blue-Eyed Ultra Fun Family | Chicagoland Family Photographer | Water Street Dreams
Okay.
This family.
Love them.
Can you EVEN with
the blue eyes?
They ALL have
them.
Jen and Jason,
you should have like
12 more kids
because the world
needs more
happy blue eyes
making people
smile just lookin’ at them!
I met Jen and
Jason in our neighborhood,
over on the local
school’s soccer field,
when both our
families should have been
indoors at a school meeting.
And we weren’t.
Should have known
then that we’d get along!
Sit indoors in a
hot sweaty gymnasium
or play frisbee
catch outdoors?
Ummmmm.
No brainer.
I’ve lost count at how many years
they’ve booked a session with me
but for sure they’ve been there since
near the beginning of my career.
They’re just FUN.
Like happy,
fun
people.
And I LOVE that about them.
The world needs more families like this.
Seriously people!
So here’s a cute
little
overheard
conversation:
Josie, their daughter,
goes to my
Jackson’s school.
One day at an
all school event
I happened to be
near Josie
and I heard her
whisper and point at me.
“That’s my
photographer!”
And the girl she
was talking to
just looked at her
and said,
“What does that
mean?”
I just chuckled
as Josie proceeded
to tell her
that her family
goes on walks with me
and I take their
pictures.
LOVE HER.
And Jack.
First of all,
you know Jack's my favorite boy name ever, right?
My husband's a Jack.
My son's a Jack.
My dad's a Jack.
My brother's a Jack.
My father-in-law's a Jack.
I mean, come on.
So.darn.cute!
Such a happy, silly, fun boy.
And super smart, too.
I was getting science lessons
the whole time we were together.
He's a big fan of nature!
And he loves his mama!
Who wouldn't?
I'm just a big fan of this clan!
Jack and Josie are
ALL about silly
so it’s a riot
just following them around,
catching them playing and laughing together.
Here's my bet:
In forty years
Josie and Jack are
gonna
absolutely LOVE
these images.
Why?
Because they'll immediately be transported back in time
where they won't be able to deny that
they had an amazing
childhood,
where laughter was
the norm,
and their parents
loved them like crazy!
Jen, Jason and I
giggle
and
outright laugh
our way through
each year’s session.
Jen pulled out her movie-star ways.
Jason can,
-- how shall we say
it --
say and do some wildly
inappropriate things
at the most
perfect times,
which make for
killer images.
Proof below!
Jen just smiles,
shakes her head,
and mutters that
she's just gotta love him!
No doubt she
learned long ago
that he’s gonna
say what he’s gonna say!
And can I just
say,
Jen,
you are so SO pretty.
Like, beautiful!
Your kindness shines through your eyes.
Every.single.image!
And that dimple.
SLAY US ALL.
Hello.
Thanks,
Jen and Jason,
for your continued business!
I always look forward to our time together.
Laughter, fun, and joy!
You're my blue-eyed, ultra fun family!
