To The Park We Went
These two are little buddies.
They were in their own little imaginary world. The whole time. I mean, they were helping each other traverse the 'crocodile lake', careful to warn each other when crocodiles were right there.
This next one cracks me up. Jackson jumped off the 'bridge' and was waiting for Triston to come rescue him. He kept yelling, "Triston, I'm here. Come get me!"And Triston did just that. He was a rescue hero! How's that for a good friend.
They ran around the park at full strength, "saving the day" as I heard them repeatedly proclaim. One would follow and the other would say, "No, this way. I see the bad guy!" And so they would reroute to avoid danger. This is my kind of play date. Not once did I have to interfere. Not once did I have to entertain. They just played off each other, making up this entire "situation" as Triston liked to say. Very funny boys. And Sara, his mommy, shared that at dinner that evening Triston could barely keep awake.
Ahh, fresh air. Great friends. Creative play.
What a day at the park.
"Bye Triston my friend!" {Oh, and for the record, it's really hard to take pictures in such bright noon sun. But I just continue to practice and love doing it!}
